I sincerely commend the Lodi News-Sentinel for doing the best, comprehensive coverage of this State Senate contest so far. In a constitutional republic where the democratic vote of the People decides our government, it’s essential for the public to be informed of the important public policy differences of candidates on issues affecting their money, their family, their safety, and their livelihoods.
Every paper in this Senate District — the Galt Herald, Stockton Record, Manteca Bulletin, Modesto Bee, and Tracy Press — should all do similar coverage or at least quote me and other candidates from the Lodi newspaper. Again, voters deserve to know who, if anyone, is going to defend their families, their homes, their values, their safety, and their livelihoods. As I told the good citizens of Lodi, “I will be your voice for your values. In the State Senate, I will use the microphone to boldly speak for good and against evil. In the media, I will represent the disenfranchised voices of the silent majority, overcoming lies and deception with the truth. I will do my best to encourage, inform, and stimulate you to be a voice for truth for the sake of this and future generations. So-called public servants who simply serve themselves are the very definition of corrupt, and I will serve and defend you with all my strength if you’ll elect me State Senator.” http://samforsenate.com.
